Renewed your Nigerian passport is valid for five years.

How to track whether your Nigerian passport is ready online:

  • Visit the NIS Portal Nigeria Immigration Service website to verify passport status, and click on “Passport Application Status,”
  • Enter your passport application ID and reference number.
  • Click Submit.
