What are the Requirements of a Nigerian Passport?

Adults (18 years and over) :

  • Completed passport application form
  • Applicant two recent passport-size photos
  • Proof of payment
  • Letter of ID from local government or else state of origin (valid employee ID card enclosed)
  • Provide your birth certificate

  • Letter of approval from your both parents (valid court order if one parent is unavailable)
  • Proof of payment

Special Note

If the child is adopted, a Court Order and Letter of approval from the State Ministry of Women and Child Development is required.
