3 Main documents to get a UAE visa: 

  1. A photo scanned color copy of your passport’s first and last pages. Your travel document must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel and have at least three blank pages.

What is a UAE visa? 

  • The UAE visa can be either a single entry visa.  
  • Validity: 60 days from the issue date.  
  • The UAE visa permits the passenger to visit UAE only for tourism.  
  • Eligible citizens can travel to UAE for tourism and stay up to 30 consecutively. 

What are the additional documents that should be carried based on my Citizenship? 

Other nationals must carry the following additional documents for a UAE visa: 

Invoice/a Proof of hotel booking in UAE, Proof of sufficient bank balance statement to cover the stay, and air ticket. 

Do I need to be certified with a Yellow fever vaccine to enter the United Arab Emirates? 

Travelers arriving in United Arab Emirates within 6 (six) days of departure from any yellow fever endemic country are supposed to hold (in original) a yellow fever certificate of vaccination. Else they may be subjected to be quarantined for 6 days upon arrival in UAE. 

What must my passport/travel document meet to apply for a UAE visa? 

The applicants Passport/travel document must have a minimum of six months validity.   

You are not eligible if you hold an Official Passport/Diplomatic or Laissez-passer/ international travel document holder.  

Not eligible for applicants endorsed on Parent’s/Spouse’s travel document/Passport. Each person should have a separate Passport.  

Mention the photo requirements for a UAE Visa application?

Do I need a no-objection letter from the employer for UAE Visa? 

No. It is unnecessary to carry a No Objection Letter from the employer to apply for a tourist UAE Visa. 

Should I submit my travel document/passport? 

To get the UAE visa, the applicant need not submit a Passport/travel document at the visa application center. Upload the copy of the travel document on the Click2Visas site to get an E-visa. 

What documentation will I need after arriving at UAE international Airport?  

  • Applicant should always carry a photocopy of UAE visa along with him/her on the Journey.  
  • Carry all the necessary documents according to Dubai visa requirements.

How will I get my UAE Visa after approval? 

Once the UAE government provides approval to your visa application, the UAE visa with “Granted” status will be sent through your registered E-mail address. 

Is an invitation letter mandatory for a UAE Visa? 

To apply for an E-Tourist UAE visa, the applicant need not require an invitation letter from any Company/organization. You might require documents to attend short-term courses.  

A copy of a letter from the concerned Company/organization, institute, hospital, etc., on its letterhead, is mandatory. Or if you are to initiate voluntary work for a short period, get a copy of a letter from the Company concerned on its letterhead. 

Do minors applicants need additional documents to apply for a UAE Visa? 

No. But it is advisable to get a photocopy of the minor’s birth certificate showing father and mother’s full names, date of birth, and nationality. Translate your birth certificate into English. 

Should I provide a COVID 19 certificate for my UAE Visa application process? 

On Arrival: 

It is mandatory to take another (PCR) COVID 19 test on arrival at Dubai International airport. If the test result is (+ve) positive, you will be needed to self-quarantine and adhere to the UAE Health Authority guidelines. 

You need not give a COVID 19 (PCR) negative certificate while submitting your visa application. You must hold the vaccination certificate tested for no more than 72 hours.
