Overview
Generally, a foreign country citizen who wishes to enter the U.S.A. must first acquire a visa (permission), either a nonimmigrant visa for temporary or short stay or an immigrant visa for (P.R.) permanent residence. Nationals of qualified countries may also be able to visit the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program. If you do not qualify (select) for the Visa
Waiver Program or are travel to work, study, /participate in an exchange program, you should apply for a nonimmigrant visa.
Candidates for United States visas should appear in person for an appointment at the U.S.A. Visa Application Center (V.A.C.) and the visa interview at the U.S.A. Consulate/Embassy. You must book the Visa Application Center appointment at least one day before the appointment date. You can book both appointments, either online, utilizing this site, or through the call center.
Supporting Documents
To plan your nonimmigrant visa arrangement, you should have the following data and records available:
A travel document/passport valid for travel to the United States of America with a validity date at least six (6) months beyond your intended duration of stay in the United States of America (unless nation-specific agreements give exemptions). If your travel document includes more than one individual each individual desiring a visa must present an application.

Limitations to Changing Appointments
Candidates are limited to the number of times they can reschedule their U.S. appointments. Kindly arrangement accordingly so that you are not needed to pay another visa application fees
Attention:
Before entering the valid receipt number, ensure that the passport/travel document bio-data and DS-160 data matches the U.S. travel docs profile for all travelers scheduled during this period/session. Discrepancies between the profile, passport/travel document information, and U.S. DS-160 data may require completion of a new profile & purchase of a new M.R.V. fees receipt. M.R.V. fees are neither refundable nor transferrable after they are assigned to a specific applicant.
A: Please give exact contact numbers (In India) and e-mail I.D. on your profile to get correct updates.
B: Please carry a photo as per U.S. Visa dimension for minors below fourteen years of age while visiting the U.S.A. Visa Application Center.
C: Each visa applicant/traveler must freely meet the renewal classification rules to qualify for an interview waiver if applicable. Group/family members not allowed for renewal category must apply individually.
D: The U.S. Consulates/Embassy in India offer free documentation submission/pickup services at the OFC where the Consulates/Embassy is located. Applicants or travelers collecting/submitting documentation from any other places will require paying a nominal fee of 650 INR per person at the time of submission/pickup.
Significant note for NEFT Payments:
The United States visa fees amount is non-refundable. Hence, we request you to remove the account details from the payee list once the U.S.A. visa payment is complete successfully to avoid the wrong transfer of funds in the future.

Specify Documentation Delivery
You can verify whether your visa is ready to be gathered using only your travel document/Passport number on the status tracker passports/Travel documents not collected within 14 working days from 11 U.S.A. Visa Application Centers or seven working days from Blue Dart locations will be gotten back to the Consulate/Embassy at the significant delay to you.

Candidates who are given a U.S.A. visa might have their travel documentation delivered to their doorstep at regular fees.
