- Entrepreneurs
- Exceptionally great Students.
- Individuals with excellent knowledge like researchers, medical professionals, and those within the scientific and intelligent fields.
Criteria for 10-year visa
Investors must have a minimum of AED 10 million worth of public investment. The investment can be either in the form of a fund or a company. It is necessary to note that at least 60 percent of the total investment must not be in real estate, and the invested amount must not be financed. Investors must assume full ownership in the case of assets.
The investor must also be able to keep the money for at least three years. This 10-year visa can be extended to include business partners if each partner pays a total of AED 10 million. The holder’s spouse and children, one executive director, and one advisor are eligible for the long-term visa.
Individuals with specialized talent, in addition to entrepreneurs, are eligible to apply for the visa. Doctors, researchers, scientists, investors, and artists are among them. Following accreditation by their respective departments and areas, these individuals may be issued a 10-year visa, including their spouses and children.
Criteria for a 5-year visa
They are generally the same for investors, except that the amount of investment necessary is set at AED 5 million.
In the UAE, extraordinary high school and university students can apply for a 5-year resident visa. Students from top-performing high schools in the country (a minimum grade of 95%) and students from specific institutions with a GPA of 3.75 or higher are eligible.
Mandatory conditions for people with specialized talents.
To be eligible for the UAE Golden Visa program, members of the aforementioned specialized talent category must meet specific requirements.
While scientists should be members of the Emirates Scientists Council or recipients of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence, creative professionals in the arts and culture must be members of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
And the government of UAE mandates documenting such exceptional work as patents or can be published in a world-class journal.
Very importantly, Doctors and specialists must meet at least two of the following rules:
- A Ph.D. from one of the world’s top 500 colleges
- An award or certificate of appreciation in the applicant’s field of work
- Participation in significant scientific research in the appropriate field of work
- Publishing articles or scientific books in prestigious journals in the respective field of work, membership in a field-related organization.
- A Ph.D. degree holder and 10 years of professional experience in the field or Excellency in priority areas to the UAE.
