An electronic visa is granted free of charge. It is issued based on an application submitted by a foreign citizen electronically on the Russian MFA website listed above, in less than 4 days before the proposed date of arrival with the digital picture. Foreign travelers who entered the Russian Federation by means of an e-visa shall have the right to freedom of movement within the territories of the Russian Federation’s constituent body, where applicable they have entered, except for regions, organizations, and services, to enter where special approval is required to comply with the federal laws of the Russian Federation.
