You may arrive at any of 28 designated airports: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Port Blair, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi & Visakhapatnam; and 5 designated seaports: Cochin, Goa, Mangalore, Chennai and Mumbai seaports. You may depart from any of the Indian Immigration Check Posts (ICPs).

What Is required of a traveler with 2 passports?

Travelers with dual or multiple citizenship must choose which nationality and passport to use on their trip. Travelers of Pakistani origin or who have a Pakistani passport are not eligible for an e-tourist visa. Travelers who are not Pakistani nationals, but whose parents or grandparents (maternal or paternal) were born in, or were permanently residents in, Pakistan, are also not eligible for an e- tourist visa. They must apply for a regular visa at Indian Mission.

Can a traveler have a passport of an eligible country and live in another country?

Yes. However, travelers applying for an e-tourist visa India must apply using the passport of the eligible country.

Can the applicant apply online if they do not have a valid passport, but a temporary travel document?

No. You cannot apply online if you do not have a valid passport from an eligible country with at least 6 months validity. Indian e-tourist visas are also not available to diplomatic/official passport holders or laissez-passer/international travel document holders.
