There are no entry limits in the United Kingdom, but a 14-day quarantine is in place for incoming passengers arriving from outside the travel corridor.
The United Kingdom has not imposed any restrictions on entry but is controlling direct flights from some areas into the country. Certain services, closed terminals, and reduced transport schedules have been discontinued by many airports, so check the specifics of the specific airport in advance. Moreover, several airlines have grounded their aircraft.
Relevant travel regulations can exist in some areas of the UK and Crown Dependencies. For travel-related information to Jersey, Isle of Man, Shetland, and Orkney, search the relevant tab.
All travelers entering the United Kingdom shall apply to immigration upon arrival a completed “Public Health Passenger Locator Form.” Mandatory 14-day quarantine for all travelers was declared by the United Kingdom, which began on June 8. Freight staff, medical personnel traveling to assist in the war against coronavirus, and travelers from the Channel Island, the Isle of Man, and Ireland are exempted from the obligation of quarantine.
Unless they have visited or stopped in some other country or territory in the previous 14 days, the UK government is updating a list of nations from which arriving travelers would not be allowed to self-isolate upon arrival. Note: Quarantine conditions can be enforced differently by the English, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish governments. Refer to Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland for additional travel information.
Upon arrival afterward, all travelers on flights to the United Kingdom must wear face masks on aircraft and on public transport. The face cover can also be used by travelers using taxis and private hire cars for the duration of their journey. Drivers may continue to carry passengers who do not obey safe travel guidelines. Check the entry requirements of the UK government, and read all about UK travel restrictions.
