All flights into the country have been prohibited by Paraguay.
Paraguay, with few exceptions for government-approved repatriation flights, has restricted all commercial flights into the country until further notice. Paraguay’s non-residents are not allowed to transit via Asuncion airport.
All travelers arriving in Paraguay are expected to stay in isolation for 14 days at a government facility and will be subjected to COVID-19 monitoring, irrespective of whether there are any symptoms. The validity of visas for tourists or temporary residents of Paraguay, whose visas or other travel permits expired on or after March 13, 2020, has been extended by the Government of Paraguay.
