Except for humanitarian and repatriation flight, Oman has extended the suspension of all commercial flights until at least 1 October.
Oman has limited the entry of all travelers except for Omani citizens and residents, who must have prior permission before returning to the country. For advice, residents of Oman can contact their nearest Oman Embassy. Alternatively, their sponsors may email consular@mofa.gov.om to the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
All permits for returning to Oman are subject to approval by the Government of Oman. Residents traveling to Oman must therefore display proof of their accommodation during airport check-in (such as a rental agreement) or have a letter from their sponsor confirming they have accommodation.
Travelers will have their temperature tested upon landing in Oman. Those that exhibit coronavirus symptoms can be referred to as a testing center and/or a quarantine facility. Both foreign nationals must have valid health insurance. After entering Oman, all travelers must self-isolate themselves for 14 days.
A tracking bracelet to wear and a passenger locator form to complete may be given to arriving passengers, and they may be asked to download a track and trace app to their mobile phone.
