Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Macau

Macau has prohibited entry from anywhere but Hong Kong, Taiwan, or mainland China to all non-Macau residents. At Macau International Airport, bus services are suspended.
As of August 7, all visitors arriving from Hong Kong are expected to send evidence of a COVID-19 negative nucleic acid test performed within 24 hours. Travelers who have visited Hong Kong within 14 days of their arrival will be subject to a 14-day quarantine at a specified venue. Please see the Macau government’s website for more information.
Entry will also be refused to residents of Hong Kong, Taiwan, or mainland China who have traveled overseas in the 14 days before their arrival. Those who have traveled to Hong Kong or Taiwan within 14 days prior to admission shall be subject to medical supervision in the specified center within 14 days.
Residents of Macao who have been abroad or to Hong Kong or Taiwan within 14 days of entry will be subject to 14 days of medical monitoring at a specified center. All passengers, including residents of Macao, must obtain a certificate stating that they have tested negative for COVID-19 within the last 7 days before they can board their flight.
All air passengers will also have their temperature checked prior to boarding their flights, and If they have a fever, they will be refused to board.
