Travelers must present a medical certificate given within 72 hours prior to departure with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR.
Luxembourg has limited the entry until at least 15 September of travelers arriving from outside the EU who are not nationals/residents of the countries of the EU/Schengen region or the United Kingdom and their family members.
As of 12 August, individuals whose flights do not originate in an EU Member State or one of the nationals exempted by the European Union (Canada, Australia, China (subject to reciprocity at the level of the European Union), Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, and Uruguay) attempt to reach Luxembourg by air.
Travelers must present a medical certificate given within 72 hours prior to departure with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR.
As of 21 August, Luxembourg has continued to bar travelers to the European Union from some countries (the US and others) for at least two additional weeks. However, there are exceptions to this prohibition: people or residents of Luxembourg may enter the country with valid documents, a Luxembourg passport, or a resident card issued by Luxembourg. Health professionals, border and transport staff, seasonal workers, critical highly skilled workers, diplomats, humanitarian aid workers, military personnel, family emergency travelers, students attending an institution in Luxembourg, and travelers in transit are also exceptions.
