According to CDC data, Covid-19 in the Republic of China is now at 1st Level. The COVID-19 transmission rate is at a low level in China. Before travelling to China, make sure you are fully vaccinated.
Foreign nationals with valid residence permits and visas are permitted to enter the People’s Republic of China, but only under minimal conditions.
Before boarding, all Chinese and foreign passengers bound for China will be required to undergo Serology IgM antibody testing and nucleic acid testing. In addition to this, they should apply for a certified Health Declaration Form (HDF) or a green health code with the “HS” mark.

Travel Ban

Mandatory Covid Test
Travellers need to take nucleic acid rt-PCR & IgM serum antibodies test. And need to submit the test result at the Embassy of China in the US.
If your certificates are qualified, you will be given a Health Declaration Code or a certified Health Declaration Form.
The test certificates and the HDF/HDC must be presented to the airlines when boarding the flight.

Quarantine Details
All visitors to China, including US nationals, are inspected upon arrival and subject to a minimum 14-day quarantine. While limitations on domestic travel inside China have been relaxed, local quarantine standards vary significantly between places, and rules can change swiftly.
Even if they keep a domicile in China, all international entrants should be prepared to complete quarantine at a government-selected facility or hotel at their own expense, with no control over the facilities.
Domestic passengers, regardless of nationality, may be required to quarantine in cities and provinces around China.
Covid Test at Airport
All inbound and outbound visitors must declare their health conditions to China Customs’ quarantine officers and cooperate with medical examination, observation, and other public health measures.
Returning from China to the US, Things to Know
Travel Restrictions
Citizens and permanent residents of the US and certain family members and others who meet specific exceptions will be allowed to enter the United States.
Non-US citizens and non-residents who have spent 14 days in China, on the other hand, are no longer permitted to enter the United States.
Mandatory Covid Test
Before boarding a flight to the US, you must present one of the following documents:

THE negative COVID-19 test result and proof of vaccination were obtained three days before departure. - If you have not been fully immunized:
A negative COVID-19 test result was obtained no more than one day before departure.
Children under 2 years do not need to be tested. There are also accommodations for people who have documented COVID-19 recovery in the last 90 days.

Before boarding flights to the USA, all air passengers will be required to provide contact information to airlines. This strengthens an already-in-place travel process for quickly identifying and contacting people in the United States who may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Mandatory Quarantine
You need to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms; isolate and test if COVID-19 symptoms appear.
After your trip, make sure to follow all state and local recommendations or requirements.
Covid Test
3–5 days after your trip, get a COVID-19 viral test.
Unvaccinated travellers are recommended to stay at home and self-quarantine for a full seven days after returning from your trip, even if you test negative after 3–5 days.
If you are not tested, you should be in self-quarantine for ten days after your trip.
