Beginning on September 19, all travelers arriving from medium and high-risk countries are required to send a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken to enter the country within 72 hours prior to arrival. A negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 5 days prior to arrival is approved for travelers arriving from low-risk countries.

Travelers should complete and upload an Embarkation / Disembarkation (ED) online form to https:/travelform.gov.bb / home 24 hours before travel.
Upon your arrival and during your stay, the type of public health measures taken will depend on the risk category of the country from which you fly.
Individuals traveling from low-risk CARICOM and Caribbean countries who have not visited a high-risk country in the previous 21 days prior to travel shall be exempted from the criteria for pre-testing. Visit barbadostravelprotocols.com for country-category risk confirmation.
A negative COVID-19 PCR test result provided by an approved or qualified laboratory taken within 72 hours prior to arrival to enter the country must be submitted to all travelers arriving from medium and high-risk countries beginning on September 19. A negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 5 days prior to arrival is approved for travelers arriving from low-risk countries.
Visitors who have been in a high-risk country or transited through it who have not submitted evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test may be refused entry into the country. Travelers with a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result will be quarantined at their own cost or free of charge at a government facility at a specified holding hotel or licensed villa and monitored daily for the onset of symptoms. For a period of 14 days, they will be quarantined with the option of taking a second COVID-19 PCR test within 5-7 days of the last test approved by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Persons may usually be released once the test outcome is negative.
Travelers from medium-risk countries arriving with a positive-negative COVID-19 PCR test result will be allowed by Immigration, Customs, and Port Health Officials to leave the airport after clearance. They will then be subject to seven days of surveillance and a second COVID-19 PCR Test. If a second COVID-19 PCR examination is rejected, they will be subject to 7 days of quarantine.
Low-risk travelers who have not visited medium-risk or high-risk countries within 21 days will be permitted to apply the results of the tests taken within 5 days of arrival. After clearance by Immigration, Customs, and Port Health Authorities, travelers who arrive with a positive-negative COVID-19 PCR test result will be allowed to leave the airport. On arrival, travelers arriving without a negative COVID-19 PCR test will be needed to take one.
Travelers from very low-risk countries that have not visited low, medium, or high-risk countries within 21 days are not allowed to take a pre-arrival or arrival COVID-19 PCR exam. After clearance by Immigration, Customs, and Port Health Authorities, these travelers will be able to exit the airport.
When flying to/from Barbados, all passengers must wear face masks.
Unique travelers who have non-standard situations that need to be handled can contact the Ministry of Health and Wellness through cmo@health.gov.bb to have their requests investigated and facilitated at least 72 hours prior to travel. This includes diplomats, individuals with medical conditions that need special care (to be approved by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)), persons with disabilities, or persons with disabilities traveling with them.
If they are symptomatic or another member of the travel party has a positive test result, travelers under 5 years of age would not be allowed to have a COVID-19 PCR test. To reach Barbados, unaccompanied minors will be required to have a clear negative COVID-19 test result.
Travelers can transit through Barbados only if they have a COVID-19 negative test prior to arrival. Masks must always be worn at the airport, and a health examination and temperature check will be carried out on passengers.
