Afghanistan welcomes foreign travelers now. However, all regular immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing was suspended.
Afghanistan has restarted international flights. The regular processing of immigrant and non-immigrant visas, however, will be halted.
Screening at point-of-entry has been added. Not everyone is being checked, but those who are and who are above 38oC can be sent directly to one of 2 national hospitals (Kabul Infectious Disease and Kabul Afghan-Japan Communicable Disease Hospital) or 5 provincial hospitals for isolation.
