Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Madagascar

Except for medical evacuations, repatriation outside of the region, and freight shipments, Madagascar has suspended all flights. Travelers entering Nosy Be must submit a negative result from a 72-hour PCR check, complete a health form, and submit to temperature controls for arrival.

Except for medical evacuations, repatriation outside of the region, and freight shipments, Madagascar has suspended all flights. Before 10 am, all flights must take off or land.

It is only the island of Nosy Be that travelers will visit. Until at least October 29, travel to the mainland of Madagascar is not yet permitted.

Visitors entering Nosy Be must present a negative result of a 72-hour PCR examination, complete a health form, and submit to arrival temperature controls.

Visitors must have a return ticket, sign a ‘letter of engagement’, and bring a local tracking phone card.
