What are the financial requirements and statements of an Australian Visitor Visa for British Citizens?
Visitor Visa Australia’s financial requirements typically include bank statements for the previous three months with a closing balance of at least AUD 5,000 per applicant. British nationals can submit audited accounts, payslips, credit card limits, or taxation records as a financial statement.
Suppose you have a sponsor when applying for a Visitor Visa. In that case, your sponsor must also provide financial requirements such as a bank statement for the last three months with a closing balance of at least AUD 5,000 for one applicant, an Australian income or overseas tax assessment, and proof of ownership of assets in Australia.
What are the things I am not allowed to bring into Australia?
Australian customs laws prohibit the importation of steroids, drugs, weapons, protected wildlife, into Australia. Some everyday items are also prohibited, including fresh or packaged fruit, food, eggs, plants, meat, feathers, skins, and seeds. How much money can a British national bring into Australia?

What happens to declared goods?
A biosecurity officer will inspect the goods you declare and assess the level of risk associated with them. In most cases, the goods are low risk and will be returned to you once they have been inspected. However, suppose a biosecurity officer determines that the goods pose a risk. In that case, you can pay to have the goods treated, pay to have the goods exported, or voluntarily dispose of the goods.
What are the limits on duty-free concessions for British nationals entering Australia?

Alcohol:Each adult may consume up to 2.25 liters (0.5 imperial gallons or 0.59 US gallons) of alcoholic beverages (liquor, wine, and Champagne).
Tobacco: 25 cigarettes per adult, or the equivalent of 25 grams (0.88 ounces) of smokeless tobacco products.
