Applicants should provide information about themselves as part of the security background check:
- Any deportation order issued by a European member country or a “third country” requires a visa to enter the European zone.

A brief medical and health check is also part of the application process. Applicants should provide information about any existing medical conditions, such as
- Any Infectious diseases.

The number of medical conditions and the severity on the list may result in ETIAS refusal. This list is expected to grow as the implementation date approaches.
5. Questions Exclusively for Minor Travelers:
The application form for minors travelers seeking ETIAS approval is essentially the same for adults and can be completed by the responsible parent or guardian.

You can expect ETIA questions related to the above topics in the application form. Answer all the questions truthfully; if not, your application will be rejected.
Review the Form Before Submit:
The applicant’s responsibility is to ensure that the entire application form is complete, correct, and authentic.
Refusal will result from incorrect data or inaccurate information. Applicants must also confirm that they have read and understood the entry requirements for the ETIAS and agree to provide any additional documentation required upon arrival in the destination country.
Medical records, hotel reservations, travel plans, flight details, and other related documents are examples of such documents.
The Final Step: Submit the ETIAS Application Form:
After completion the applicant can submit the application form online or can use an authorized commercial intermediary.
The actual cost of the application has not been officially determined. Still, it is currently expected to be €7, which appears to be almost inevitable, and payment must accompany the application via credit or debit card.
The applicant’s valid email address listed on the form will be used for communication. The approval or refusal result will be sent to this email id. You can expect the result within few hours. Any issues, errors, or omissions on the form will be communicated to the applicant via the same email address.
Once granted, ETIAS approval is valid for three years or until the expiry date of the passport, whichever comes first. This is in contrast to the Schengen visa, which is only valid for 90 days out of a total of 180 days.
This means that once a traveler receives their ETIAS, they will not have to reapply for the authorization until it expires several years later. In contrast, Schengen visa holders must essentially apply for a new Schengen visa after their 90-day visa validity period expires to make another trip to the Schengen area.
When the approval period expires, the application process (including another fee payment) must be restarted.
