2) Travel Proof: Two-way tickets booked with the Turkey airlines. For certain nationals, the Turkey government accepts a ticket from a specific airline only. The airlines are Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Onur Air, or Atlasglobal Airlines.
For example, Egyptian nationals need to submit a round trip ticket from Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Onur Air or Atlasglobal Airlines, or Egypt Air. So, it’s always recommendable to book the ticket with the airlines as mentioned earlier.
3) Proof of Sufficient Funds: All travelers need to prove that they have 50$ per day to spend in Turkey. You can submit your Bank account book demonstrating that the passenger has sufficient funds to fund his or her trip to Turkey.
4) Hotel Booking: Book a hotel in Turkey and upload the booked receipt while applying for your Turkey e-visa.
Certain nationals require more than just these basic requirements. Yes, the Turkish government issues e-visas to certain nationals who provide supporting documentation. We have provided a list of supporting documents below; you may submit any of them.
Supporting Documents: Valid visa OR valid residence permit from one of the Schengen Countries, United States of America, United Kingdom, or Ireland. Please note, E-visas from these countries are not accepted as supporting documents. Instead, you should submit a valid paper visa issued by the respective embassy/consulate.
Turkey Visa Requirement for European Citizens:
Are you a European citizen living in the United Kingdom? Good news! You don’t have to apply for a Turkey e-visa. Ordinary and official passport holders from EU member states are exempt from visa requirements for up to 90 days within 180 days in Turkey.
Turkey Visa Requirement for Russian Citizens:
Citizens of the Russian Federation are not required to obtain entry visas for tourist or business travel to/from Turkey for up to 60 days.
Turkey Visa Requirement for UK, United States, and Canada Citizens:
It is mandated to have a valid passport for at least six months after the date of travel.
Visas are required for US citizens with US passports who wish to visit Turkey. US nationals in the UK can apply for a Turkey e-visa with the documents we have discussed above.
UK citizens with UK passports are not required to obtain an entry visa to visit Turkey.
Canadian citizens living in the UK with valid Canadian passports are exempt from visa requirements for visits to Turkey. However, ordinary passport holders can apply for three-month multiple-entry e-visas.
Turkey Visa Requirement for Other Citizens:
Are you a Northern Cyprus national? If yes, you don’t need any visa to enter Turkey. The citizens of Northern Cyprus are permitted to travel freely in and out of Turkey for any reason.
All other nationals need a Turkey visa based on the travel purpose. Either they can apply for a regular paper visa or e-visa if eligible.
