Serbia has had its borders reopened. Instructions on preventing the spread of coronavirus will be given to incoming travelers on arrival. If you really have booked, but are looking to book, flights between Serbia and then another country, you should be mindful that changes and cancellations may be made as flights resume.

As of 18 September, Serbian citizens and foreigners in Serbia are expected to take a self-assessment test on arrival at e-zdravlje.gov.rs to decide if they record, print, or save the results of the self-assessment to a COVID-19 clinic as evidence that it has been completed, and take another self-assessment check on the 10th day of arrival.

The previous August 14 criteria remain in effect. All travelers entering Serbia from Croatia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, or Romania, except Serbian nationals, crew members and travelers traveling for less than 12 hours, children under 12 years of age accompanied by parents with clear PCR test results, and duly accredited diplomats and their relatives, must arrive with a negative PCR test taken 48 hours before arrival.

Foreign nationals with a temporary stay permit in Serbia expiring after 15 March 2020 will be permitted to enter the Republic of Serbia by 1 July 2020. They should legally request an application within 30 days of their arrival in Serbia for an extension of their temporary stay.
