Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Nepal

Nepal has rescinded the suspension of international commercial flights. Only Nepalis, foreign passengers from certain categories of jobs, and their dependents, however, can join. Travelers must present a medical certificate given within 72 hours prior to departure with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR.

Only Nepali, diplomatic, international organizations, and certain staff of international non-governmental organizations are permitted to enter the country, however.

Travelers must present a medical certificate given within 72 hours prior to departure with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR.

Evacuation, evacuation, and emergency flights and flights may also enter the country with special permission from the Civil Aviation Authority.

A 14-day quarantine on arrival will apply to all travelers arriving in Nepal.
