Introduction

South Korea is a diverse country, known both for modern cities such as Seoul’s capital, as well as traditional temples and picturesque countryside. People from some countries will have to apply for a visa from South Korea to enter it – although a large number of them are excluded from the need for short-term visas. A South Korean visa requirement is a stamp or endorsement put on a passport by South Korean officials allowing the bearer to visit South Korea. For your tour, visas are obtained from the South Korean Embassy or Consulates. “Visit” is further defined as the purpose, typically business, tourist, or transitory, for entry.
