Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Ireland

Travelers who are 16 years of age or older must complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form prior to arrival, effective August 26.

Ireland does not currently impose any limits on entry, but all travelers arriving in Ireland from regions other than Northern Ireland are expected to complete a 14-day Public Health Passenger Locator Form and self-quarantine, with the exception of travelers carrying a diplomatic passport.

Effective from 26 August, travelers 16 years of age or older must complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form at https:/cvd19plf-prod1.powerappsportals.com/en-us/prod1.powerappsportals.com before arrival.

A ‘Green List’ of countries with low COVID-19 incidence has been released as of July 20. There will be no need to quarantine travelers coming from such countries. Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Slovakia are the countries on the list as of August 4.

It is possible to find the list here. Important supply chain employees are excluded from the provisions of the quarantine.
