Coronavirus sample procedure

Guatemala reopened Guatemala International Airport on September 18.

Travelers aged 10 and older must request a negative result of the COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival and a printed copy of the form upon arrival.

Foreign nationals who do not legally live in Guatemala will not be able to enter Guatemala if they do not pass the test.

Travelers will be subject to a clinical review upon arrival in Guatemala. With the address where they will stay, they will be asked to complete an immigration form. Further guidance on the location where they should complete the quarantine and any other information, they should provide upon arrival will be given by local authorities.
