Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Croatia

Croatia has opened its borders to EU / EEA and UK tourists. An entry pass can also be requested electronically by nationals from outside the EU.

As of 1 July 2020, all EU / EEA / UK nationals and persons holding permanent residence within the EU / EEA can enter Croatia free of charge, without limitation or quarantine.

All other foreign nationals, including citizens of the United States of America, can enter Croatia for industry, tourism, or other pressing personal reasons, provided that the relevant evidence is provided. For travelers entering Croatia, Croatia has abolished compulsory self-isolation and quarantine restrictions. Instead, a pamphlet of recommendations and instructions from the Croatian Institute of Public Health is given to travelers, which they must obey for 14 days after entering the country. If deemed necessary to avoid the spread of COVID-19, travelers can still be ordered to self-isolate or spend 14 days in official government quarantine facilities; placement in quarantine is at the cost of the traveler.

As of July 10, a negative PCR test given within 48 hours of arrival must be submitted to US people arriving in Croatia for tourism, industry, urgent personal reasons, or educational purposes. It will provide anyone who does not have a credible test to quarantine.
