Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Caribbean Netherlands

For some travelers arriving from Aruba, Curaçao, Europe, and the US, Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatius have started to ease travel restrictions.

For travelers coming from some countries, Bonaire has started to loosen its travel restrictions.

Travelers from a high-risk country arriving in Bonaire are expected to be quarantined for 14 days in a quarantine facility at the expense of the traveler.

Flights have now resumed to and from Curacao and Aruba. Flights to and from Europe resume on July 1, 2020. Visitors who have been physically present during the last 14 days in the United States are not authorized to enter Bonaire. A negative COVID-19 exam and evidence of health insurance covering the overseas traveler must be submitted by travelers qualified to join Bonaire.

For Saba, travelers from Bonaire, Curacao, and Sint Eustatius will be able to fly to Saba without quarantine requirements as of August 4 but will not be able to transit through Sint Maarten. Travelers from Europe will only travel to Saba for the repatriation of citizens, basic personnel, medical travelers, and medical students and will be subject to quarantine upon arrival. Subject to COVID-19 testing before  arrival and additional quarantine upon arrival, travelers from Sint Maarten and the United States (and other countries in North and South America) can travel to Saba only for the repatriation of citizens, key workers, medical travelers, and medical students. For Sint Eustatius: Without quarantine restrictions, travelers from Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saba, and St. Kitts and Nevis may request admission to Sint Eustatius. Travelers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and France may apply for entry to Sint Eustatius, but they must comply with the quarantine at home. Except for legal residents of Sint Eustatius, vital staff, and medical travelers, travelers who have been physically present in the United States within the last 14 days are not permitted to reach Sint Eustatius. Travelers from Sint Maarten, UK, the Dominican Republic, and most countries in South and Central America may apply for entry to Sint Eustatius but must be in a quarantine facility in accordance with a mandatory quarantine.
