Check Your UAE Visa Status Online:

As I said before, entry permits can’t be extended. Before the expiry, you have to change your entry permit to a residence visa.

The UAE Government has established an official portal to assist you in obtaining visa-related services. You will need your passport number to check the validity of your UAE resident visa using this method.

The government established two different portals to check your visa status. You can use the portal based on your Emirates location. For example, to check Dubai’s visa status, you need to visit the GDRFA portal. Likewise, for other emirates other than Dubai, visit the ICA Smart Service portal.

Check Dubai Visa Status:

The GDRFA (full form of GDRFA is General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs) deals with and responds to all UAE visa rules, queries, visa applications, and concerns. So far, only Dubai has a separate portal for checking your UAE visa status online.

If you live in Dubai, use the GDRFA website to check your UAE visa status.

Go to the GDRFA site given below

Choose “Residence Validity” from the drop-down menu as the service you require for your Dubai visa inquiry.

Enter your residence file number, and the year it was issued. The residence file number can be found on the visa page of your passport.

Next, please enter your first name as it appears on your passport and chooses your gender.

Enter your birthday in the DD-MM-YYYY format.

Next, enter the Captcha code in the designated box and press the “Submit” button.

If your information is correct, your visa validity information will appear in green below your submission form. Your UAE visa expiry date, nationality, name, gender, and date of birth will all be included.

Check Other Emirates Visa Status:

If you have any of the below emirates’ Entry Permit/Residence visa, you need to visit the ICA site.

  • Abu Dhabi
  • Sharjah
  • Ajman
  • Umm Al Quwain
  • Ras Al Khaimah
  • Fujairah

Follow the below steps and check your entry permit/residence visa validity.

  • Visit the UAE government portal given below to check your UAE visa status.

ICA Smart Service Site

  • Choose English in the “Change Language” options.
  • Go to the “Passport Information” tab.
  • Choose your visa type, either select “Visa” or “Residency.”
  • Next, mention your passport number and expiration date in the respective field.
  • Choose your current nationality from the drop-down list.
  • Before you click the search button, tick the captcha checkbox.

All of the visa validity and other information will be displayed on the following page. If the details you entered are correct, the page will display all of your UAE visa details, including the expiry date of your UAE visa.

Check Your UAE Visa Application Status:

United Arab Emirates government offers various types of visa to the citizen from all over the world. Certain countries national can get 30 days or 90 days visa on arrival to visit UAE. Others can apply for prearranged UAE visa before travel.

30-day Visa on Arrival:

If you have a passport from one of the eligible countries or territories, you do not need to make any advance visa arrangements to visit the UAE. Book a flight to Dubai International Airport and proceed to immigration to have your passport stamped with a free 30-day visit visa.

90-day Visa on Arrival:

If you from eligible countries or territories, you will get 90 days visa stamped at the entry port. A 90-days visa on arrival is a multiple entry visit visa valid for six months from the date of issue. Citizens of the eligible European countries may also apply for a prearranged visit visa if their 90-day visa on arrival has been exhausted.
