Kenya Online Visa or Transit E-Visa:

The Kenya Transit E-Visa can be a single-entry visa valid for three days from the issue. The Kenya Transit E-Visa allows the holder to visit Kenya only for transit.

  • Color Photograph with a white background.

What must my Passport meet to apply for a Kenya online visa for Transit?

The traveler’s Passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity. You are not eligible for evisa if you hold an Official Passport/Diplomatic or Laissez-passer/ international travel document. In addition, with that traveler endorsed on Parent’s/Spouse’s Travel document also not eligible to apply for Kenya visa. Therefore, each individual should have a separate Passport.

Should I submit my travel document/passport?

No. But it is advisable to bring a photocopy of the minor’s birth certificate showing Father and mother’s full names, date of birth, and nationality. And then translate your birth certificate into English.

Should I provide a Covid-19 PCR certificate for my electronic visa application process?

On Arrival

It is mandatory to take another COVID‑19 (coronavirus) PCR test on arrival at Kenya International airport. If the PCR (COVID‑19) result is positive, you will be required to self-quarantine, and you must adhere to the Kenya Health Authority guidelines.

 You don’t have to give a Covid-19 Test negative certificate while submitting your visa application. You must have the vaccination certificate tested for no more than 72 hours.
